COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTS AT USOD

An African adage says, “It takes a village to raise a child.” At USOD, we believe that while the village nurtures the child, the child should also give back to the village to support future generations.

We encourage our students to give back to the community through design. Our team organizes community volunteer days, allowing students to contribute their skills to community-based organizations of their choice. This engagement strengthens their connection to the community and nurtures a strong sense of empathy, a critical skill for top designers.

Empathy, a core attribute of designers, enhances business growth, makes marketing more impactful, and ensures products are more user-friendly, ultimately creating solutions that serve people better.
